George is the son of John Young and Laura Alzina Hunting Braden.

George A. Braden, for the past nine years an employee of the H. Mueller Manufacturing company, died at 12:15 Sunday afternoon at the family residence, 2155 North Church street. His death was caused by acute indigestion. He was fifty-seven years old. He was the son of the late J. Y. Braden of Hickory Point township, where he was born
Sept 29, 1855. He married Miss Armanda Miller Dec. 10, 1890. Five children were born to them, one dying in infancy. The surviving- children are Jerome, Harvey, Ralph and Nellie Braden, all living In Decatur. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. William Blair of Decatur
and Mrs. Cora Dillehunt of Needles, Cal., and three brothers, John Braden of Lake Arthur, La., Jerome Braden of Colorado Springs, and Thomas Braden of Decatur. He was a member of the Loyal American lodge. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the family residence. The services will be conducted by Rev. I. S. Richmond. The interment will be in Boiling Springs cemetery.
