Kenneth B. McCully 94, of Rushville passed away November 8, 2004 at Rush Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 2, 1910 in Sheldon, ND the son of Thomas James & Sara Belle Brody McCully. He graduated in 1928 from Sheldon High School and moved to Rushville. He married Frances Richardson September 8, 1931 and she preceded him in death April 19, 2001.
He managed the Standard Oil filling station at 7th & Main streets (where the Village Pantry is currently located) for 28 years and then became the Rushville agent for State Farm Insurance from which he retired in 1982. Some of his many memberships included Phoenix Lodge #62 F&AM (past master); Scottish Rite; HSUR Shrine Club, Lions Club (past president & Melvin Jones Fellow); Chamber of Commerce (past president) & Main Street Christian Church.
Survivors include his son Tom (wife Susan) McCully of Lafayette, IN; daughters Pat (husband Pete) Nelson of Brighton, MI & Shirley (husband Dan) Broughton of Big Sandy, TN; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren also survive.
The funeral ceremony will be 1:00 PM Friday November 12, 2004 at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Hank Anderson officiating.
