Lexie M. Bell, age 61, of the Foster Mt Community, Monticello, Ky., passed away Friday, September 15, 2000 at the Wayne County Hospital.

She was born in Wayne County, Ky. on February 16, 1939 the daughter of Alfred Foster and Etta Shelton Foster. Both parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her companion - Denver Vaughn, two sons, George Bell and Carl Ray Bell, both of Monticello, Ky., three daughters - Jewell Flach, Barbara Jean Savage and Eva Daniels, all of Monticello, Ky., two brothers - Dison Foster and Charlie Foster, both of Monticello, Ky., two sisters - Verna Lee Vaughn and Hazel Sullivan, both of Monticello, Ky., and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 18, 2000 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro Anson Perkins and Bro Dewey Burks officiating. Burial was in the Alexander Cemetery.
