GRIGGS, Okla. - Orpah Blanche Cayton, 85, died Saturday, July 3, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 7 p.m. today in Marella Cemetery in Griggs with Wendell Cayton officiating. Arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City.
Ms. Cayton was born Jan. 26, 1925, in the Plainview/Griggs area to Thomas Clark and Blanche Wetherholt Wall Cayton. She taught school at many schools, in the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles as well as some in Southwest Kansas.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to Marella Cemetery, in care of the mortuary, P.O. Box 277, Boise City, OK 73933.
