Funeral services for Nancy Elizabeth Pugh Welch, 88, were held at 1p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant with interment following in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery at West. Officiating minister was Rev. Jerry Tate.
Mrs. Welch passed away at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood on Friday, February 27, 2009. A native of Attala County, she was the daughter of Edgar Pugh and Gennie Lou Green. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Welch is survived by a daughter, Jewel Blailock (Ricky) of Pearl, three granddaughters, and two great granddaughters.
