He was employed by the Marion Star for 46 years and worked in the mailroom. He loved to bowl and to vacation in Tennessee. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ and the Hwy 309 Senior Center. He enjoyed his special visits from his siblings.
In addition to his wife, Kenny is survived by a son, Kenneth N. (Mary) Davis, Jr.; a daughter, Tammie (Randall) Jorgensen; two brothers and two sisters, Ervin Davis, John R. (Sharon) Davis, Betty (Tom) Wyckoff and Ruth (Gary) Silvers all of Marion; mother-in-law, Betty Wade; sister-in-law, Linda Lewis; brother-in-law, Terry Manley; seven grandchildren, Kenneth N. (Evelyn) Davis III, Tiffany (Jeb) McEldowney, Aaron (Wendy) Davis, Brett (Michelle) Cahill, Cody (Sandra) Davis, Ashley Jorgensen, and Coleman Jorgensen; six great grandchildren; an aunt, Eloise Manley; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Davis; a son, Michael Nelson Davis; a brother, Walter Davis; a brother-in-law, Jay Pete Manley Jr.; a sister-in-law, Patricia Roush; and father-in-law, Jay P. Manley Sr.
Kenny will be missed by many friends and loved ones.
