Mrs. Parham was the daughter of Hervey and Ruth Reeder Melton. She married Jack Harold Parham in 1946 and they made their home in Minden, La. She worked at the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant before serving as church secretary for Antioch Baptist Church in Dixie Inn for 23 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a younger brother Thurmond Melton.
She is survived by two daughters, four granddaughters, nine great grandchildren and one brother.
