Anyone who knows Ray would remember him as a kind, gentle and loving man. He had such a big and kind heart that he had so much love for anyone he met. He enjoyed fishing, ceramics, woodworking and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Ray enjoyed fixing all different kinds of things from watches to cars and everything in between. Ray used to install fire alarm systems for Simplex in places like schools and hospitals. He handled the most difficult jobs in all different places.
Ray is also survived and loved by his children Debbie Hendricks of Kennett Square, Steven Hipp of Downingtown and previously deceased by his daughter Cheryl DiLuigi of Downingtown, along with his 9 grandchildren Morris Hendricks IV, Danene Hendricks, Jeremy Hendricks, Ryan Hipp, Kevin Hipp, Kelly Hipp, Christina Hipp, Brian DiLuigi, and Kristen DiLuigi. Along with 5 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 9, from 6-8 pm and Thursday, January 10, from 9:45 – 10:45am at the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown PA 19335.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 beginning at 11:00am at Northwood Cemetery.
