Dr. John D. Brooke, Ph.B.D., Th. D, 89, passed away Monday, February 23, 2009, at his residence in Newburgh, IN. John was the Founder and President of Detroit College of Law, former Education Director of Detroit City Rescue Mission, founder of Toledo Bible College, formerly Community School of The Bible, Detroit. He founded and retired from Trinity Bible College and Seminary, Newburgh, IN. Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. (CST) at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, IN. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.ziemerfuneralhome.com
