Robert Hicks married, by 1603, Margaret _____. She died at Plymouth between 8 July 1665 (date of will) and 6 March 1665/6 (probate of will).
They had 9 children: Thomas, John, Sara, Richard, Samuel, Lydia Bangs, Phebe Watson, Mary, & Ephriam.
There is no known primary documentation that she was a Winslow or that Robert had any other wives.

Court held att Plymouth the sixtof march Ann° Dom 1665 on the oathes of Captaine

11New Plymouth July the 8th Ann° Domt 1665••••• Margarett hickes widdow of
the Towne of Plymouth" made her will. Bequests were as follows: 11unto my son Samuell hickes' five poundsJ" 11unto my Daughter in law·Lydia hickes thirty shillings"
11unto my son Samuells Children ten shillinges apeece, there being seaven of
them.11
11all the above said legacyes ••••• shalbee payed by that which is.owing to
mee from my above said son Samuell hickes which Debt is ten pounds •••• the abovesaid legacyes being what I can Doe for him and his, hee having alreddy Received
a large portion of that which god hath given mee, not onely in lands but alsoe
in goods and Chattles which was not onely my husbands and son Ephraims estate
formerly but alsoe given to mee by will att my son Ephraims Death,"

"All the Rest of my estate I Doe give and bequeath unto the Children of my · -

law Gorge Watson in as full and free way as if my selfe were to Dispose thero£J
