Gladys Saxon of 1738 West 20th, Florence, Oregon, passed away January 2, 1980, at the age of 72. She was born November 25, 1907 at Columbus, Montana. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose of Florence, Oregon. Her husband, Cecil, whom she married August 18, 1926 at Walla Walla, Washington, preceded her in death in 1959.
She is survived by 5 sons: Cecil of Eugene, Darwin and Donald, both of Florence, Robert and Delmar, both of Agate Beach; 2 daughters: Sandra Lippert and Sharon Mallory, both of Eugene, a stepdaughter, Deloris Frerichs of Stockton, California; 2 brothers: Earl Pribe and Lloyd Pribe, both of Milton-Freewater, Oregon; a sister, Peggy Williams of Milton-Freewater, 23 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 5, 1980 at 10:30 A.M. at the Old Masonic Cemetery in Eugene, Oregon with Reverend Charles L. McCarthy of Ebbert Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Riverside Chapel in charge of arrangements.
