NOTE: Birth Register of Hancock Co., WV lists her birth as 13 Feb 1871. Elizabeth is not listed on the 1870 census taken in July, therefore her tombstone is probably incorrect listing her birth Feb 1870.

HISTORY: According to various oral history by family members, Elizabeth died in a grate fire when her dress caught fire. Her nickname was Lizzie.
