Michael L. Byberg, age 64 of Lake, formerly of Westland, passed away Monday, February 2. 2009. He was born October 30, 1944 to the late Louis and Bertha (Hough) Byberg. Mike retired from G. M. Powertrain, Willow Run. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; four children, Steven (Rhonda) of Westland, Jeffrey (Sherry) of Westland, Kristin of Midland, and Kerry (Jack) of Farwell; 9 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill (Peg) Byberg of Westland and Tom (Laurie) Byberg of Remus; a sister, Gayle (John) Rettinger of Barryton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Pastor Tom Doherty officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, February 4th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
