Sarah was born in 1800's, and she came to Clermont Co.Ohio with her parents in the early 1800's. Some records say 1814-15.
Her parents joined the Methodist Church in Bethel which is probably where Sarah and
and Samuel Sims met. At least they were married there in 1820 according to the Clermont Co. marriage records. Herman Fagley, Bethel Historian, Sarah and U.S. Grant's sister were friends.
Samuel and Sarah had nine children. She died at age 42. The cause of her death at such a young age is unknown. She is buried in the old Pioneer Cemetery in Bethel, OH.
