Funeral services for John H. Abbott, 41, of 1720 Blanding Street, who died early yesterday morning at the Columbia hospital after an illness of four months, will be conducted from the Park Street Baptist church at 4:30 this afternoon by the Rev. Paul Wheeler, pastor and the Rev. M. V. Horne. Interment will be in the Killian Baptist churchyard at Killian. Mr. Abbott was an auto mechanic and was a member of the Park Street Baptist church. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. A. H. Clarke of Columbia and Mrs. Steve Turkouski of Dover, N. J., and two brothers, A. W. Abbott and J. W. Abbott, Jr., both of Columbia. Pallbearers will be: H. A. Windham, S. J. Parham, J. B. Coates, S. C. Berry, W. K. Dawson and Harry Platt.
