Mrs. Ellen Rebecca Africa Aged 64, of 1623 Eleventh avenue, died at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at Mercy Hospital of diabetes. She was born in McVeytown on May 2, 1870, but had resided in Altoona for many years. Her husband, Millard Africa, died on April 23, 1931. Surviving are three sons, Arthur, Robert,and Harry, all of this city; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Warrick of Harrisburg. Mrs. Africa was a member of the First Methodist church. Funeral services will be held at the home of a son, Arthur Africa, 2009 Tenth street, at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
