MRS. H. C. BRANCH DIES SOON AFTER HUSBAND

Less Than Three Weeks Intervene In Passing of Aged Couple

Mrs. Margaret Branch, widow of H. C. Branch, died last Friday at her home on Lincoln street, aged 76 years. Although she had been in poor health her death was unexpected and came as a great shock to the son and friends, so closely following that of her husband, who passed away January 27th.
Mrs. Branch was the daughter of Gabriel and Charlotte Adams of Canadice. She was united in marriage to Mr. Branch in 1874, and they continued as residents of that town until 1902, when they came to Wayland, this village having since been their home. She is survived by one son, Clarence G. Branch of New York city.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. C. A. Whitehead officiating, and burial was in the local cemetery.
