Harold and Eva lived at Campo Colorado, where their 2 children were born and went to school. Wanda and Tommy graduated from high school there. Harold worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. Later he was
transferred to Springfield where he worked until his retirement. They have kept their home in Campo and
have a home in Springfield also. Harold enjoyed fishing and Eva is active in Senior Citizens activities. Eva enjoys her grandchildren and enjoys textile painting, making quilts and ceramics. Harold served in the second World War with the United States Army (Air Force) from February 1942 to November 1945 at which time he received a honorable discharge. He served in India, Burma and
China. He received a Good Conduct medal, World Warr II Victory medal and American Service medal. He attended the Signal CTR school Mess Sgt. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 4001.
