Francis Tyler Siegel, 92, of Richmond, widow of John Boschen Siegel Jr., died Tuesday, July 1, 2003. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Walter Gresham Tyler and Susette Beale Tyler. Mrs. Siegel was preceded in death by her son, John Tyler Siegel. She is survived by a son; her sister; her grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Siegel studied art at King's Smith Studio School and Cochran Gallery in Washington, D.C. and Columbia University. She exhibited traditional Virginia landscapes and portraits at local galleries. Mrs. Siegel was a member of the Country Club of Virginia, the National Society of Colonial Dames, The Woman's Club and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3 in Hollywood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
