Jack B. Tannehill, 73, of Virginia died at 11:13 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Jan. 22, 1935, in Springfield, the son of Gaylord and Margaret Wanless Tannehill. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bill, Harry Paul and Clyde; and a sister, Patricia.
Mr. Tannehill retired from Laborers Local 477.
Surviving are four children; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Eddie Tannehill, Fred Tannehill, George Tannehill, Jerry and Gaylord Tannehill and Joann Buckles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at Staab Funeral Home led by George Tannehill. Graveside services will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
