CAMP HILL, AL -- Mrs. Christine Johnson Moss, 93, of Camp Hill (Tiller X-Roads) died Friday, May 28, 2004 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette, AL with Rev Steve Powell officiating. Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Huguley, AL.
Mrs. Moss is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ila Turner and Sally Duck, both of Alexander City, AL; special caregivers Joe and Vicki Sanders of Camp Hill, AL, Jason Sanders of Auburn, AL and Andrea and Bill Erickson of Coral Springs, FL; one niece, Mary Jim McCann of LaFayette, AL; a special cousin, Kermit Johnson of Lanett, AL; and a special friend, Hazel Still of LaFayette, AL.
Born on Apr 18, 1911 in Chambers County, AL, Mrs. Moss was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Chambers County. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Moss.
The family offers a special thanks to the staff of LaFayette Nursing Home.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at Jeff Jones Funeral Home.
