Ivy Lee (Doss) Robbins was born September 7, 1913 in Rockdale to Cleveland A. and Dora Leona (Worley) Doss. She was a life long resident of Rockdale, attending school at Hamilton Chapel. She was a member of First Christian Church in Rockdale.
On March 11, 1950, she and Clyde Robbins were married in the Rockdale Methodist Church.
Ivy Lee was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress at the Elite Restaurant in Rockdale and later kept books at Robbins Ready Mix.
Ivy Lee passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 in the Richards Memorial Hospital, reaching the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard, Rufus and Clifton Doss; and sisters, Margaret Bland, Virgie Bundrick and Florence Doss.
Surviving; Her husband Clyde Robbins of Rockdale. Brothers, Beno Doss of Temple and Chester W. Doss of Minneapolis, MN. Sisters, Dorothy Valigura of College Station, Dora Mae Musgrave of Montgomery and Opal Inez Brown of Crosby.
Visitation, 4PM to 9PM Friday, February 20, 2009 at the funeral home.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale with Rev. Earl Pressley officiating.
