Survive - Funeral To Be Held
Tuesday Morning

Mrs. Lillie Dell Land, 59, passed away at 5 a.m. Sunday at her home, 827 East Washington Street. She had been in failing health 10 years and seriously ill since Christmas.

Mrs Land was born June 15, 1883 in Decatur County, the daughter of Solon and Lucy Hankins Lee. On December 9, 1903 she was married to Walter Land in Milroy. She had spent all of her life in Rush and Decatur counties.

Surviving with the husband are two children: Mrs. Walter (Elsie) Jones and Pansy Land, both of Greensburg; her mother, Mrs. Lucy Lee, of Rushville; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Wilbur Lee, of Rushville, Everett Lee and Roy Lee of Rush County; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Gertie) Morgan, of Greensburg, Mrs. Oscar ( Jessie) Icenogle, of Rushville, and Mrs. Irvin (Gladys) Barber, of Rush County.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Howe funeral home where friends may call at any time. The Rev. LeRoy Wingham will officiate. Burial will be in Sandcreek Cemetery.
