Roy Edward Lee, 90, Rushville, died at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 1986, in Miller's Merry Manor, Rushville. He was a retired farm laborer, working in Rushville 45 years, and prior to that, in Decatur County.
Mr. Lee was born June 27, 1896 in Decatur County, the son of Solon S. and Lucy Ann Hankins Lee. He had lived in Rushville 45 years and prior to that, resided in Decatur County.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. William E. (Katherine) Moore, Mrs. Paul (Jessie) Hampton and Mrs. Marshall (Rosamond) Beard, all of Greensburg, and Mrs. Ray Thomas (Norma) Wagner, Batesville; 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son; one set of triplets, three brothers and six sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville, with Stanley Icenogle officiating. Burial will be in the Hartsville College Cemetery.
