Glenn F. Aschbrenner, 87, Weston, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and as a member of the 9663rd Air Reserve Squadron in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for 30 years. Glenn was employed with Wausau Motor Parts (Federal Mogul) as a manufacturing manager until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth (Hammen) Aschbrenner, Weston; two sons, Leigh (Linda) Aschbrenner, Marshfield, and Jim (Lynn) Aschbrenner, Irvine, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peace United Church of Christ, Schofield. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel, Weston, is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a donation to the American Air Museum in Britain and the Peace Church Endowment Fund.
