Shelby Danielle Aulidge, was born on May 6, 1992 to Norman and Tammy Primm Aulidge. She was also blessed with an older Sister, Emily.
She was a very outgoing 16 year old girl. Shelby, attended high school at Creek Wood High School where she was a Sophomore. She had previously been a Cheerleader at William James Middle School. After high school, she wanted to attend college to become a Dental Assistant.
On Friday July 4, 2008 Shelby along with one of her very close friends Jamie Burns, was killed after being in an automobile accident by a drunk driver on Highway 48 in Dickson Tennessee just before 9:30pm. The drunk driver veered into their lane, striking their vehicle head-on at more than 30 miles per hour over the speed limit. The impact caused both vehicles to roll several times before coming to a complete stop. Shelby, passed away instantly at the scene at the age of 16. Jamie was taken to a Hospital where she passed away at the age of 16, 20 minutes later.
Shelby's Funeral Service was held on July 8, 2008 at the Spann Funeral Home at 2PM. Burial followed at the Williams Cemetery in Dickson County.
On March 2, 2009 the drunk driver received 14 years to serve in The Tennessee State Prison.
Shelby, will always be loved and missed by her family and close friends.
