Varnham Carey Clark was born 17 October 1919 in Miami County, Indiana, the son of Carey and Lora (Swope) Clark. He died 31 May 1975 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Wabash County, Indiana. He was buried at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Roann, Wabash County, Indiana.

Occupation: tool & die at General Tire for 30 years.
Cause of death: coronary occlusion.

He married Helen Hollingshead on 29 September 1940 in Monroe, Indiana.

Survivors: son: Jimmie Lee Clark.
