Leona Frances Loftus was born Jan. 29, 1910 to Edward and Elizabeth Tabaka, Ivesdale, Illinois. On Oct. 5, 2003, she peace- fully slept away the last moments of her life at her home in Puyallup. The wife of the late Albert Ward Alexander, who preceded her in death in 1966, she was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup. Leona is survived by her 4 daugh- ters, Marilyn (George) Quentin of San Jose, CA; Sarita (M.T.-Dusty) Tucker of Puyallup; Kathleen (Bob) Guido of Savoy, IL; Sheila Loftus of Ivesdale, IL; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, 2:00 PM at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup. Burial will be later in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana, Illinois.
