Mildred E. Belt, 88, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community. She was born on April 14, 1920 in Sidney, the daughter of the late Earl and Justina (Weber) Tucker.
On December 18, 1940 she was married to Robert L. Belt Sr., who preceded her in death on July 7, 1993.
She is survived by ten children, Melvin (Dora) Belt, Terry Belt, Carla (William) Thornton, Randy (Janet) Belt, Bruce (Rita) Belt, Penny (David) McElrath, Tod Belt, Lisa (Jerry) Wilson, Timothy (Vicky) Belt, and Melanie Bausom; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Three sons, Robert Belt Jr., Mark Belt, and Tracy Belt; and one sister, Ann Brueggeman, preceded her in death.
Mildred was a homemaker, and she loved to play bingo, knit and crochet, and be with her family.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 1 p.m. from the Cromes Funeral Home, with Chaplain Keith Matthews officiating. Burial will be at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, Ohio.
