Mary Frances (Scott) Owens, Anderson, died June 25, 2005 at T.J. Sampson Community Hospital, Glascow Kentucky after brief illness.
She was born August 5, 1914 in Burkesville, KY, and resided in Anderson. She has lived in this area most of her life.
She was the owner of The Gift Box gift store in Anderson. She was also a homemaker.
She was volunteer at Community Hospital for ten years.
She is survived by her son, Norm Owens of Anderson. Her four brothers, Berchie Scott and wife Aldene of Anderson, Cecil Scott of Anderson, James w. Scott and wife Jewell of Anderson and Kermit Scott and wife Ruth of Burkesville, KY. Her four sisters Lilar Scott and husband Austin of Burkesville, KY. and Dorothy Moser of Glascow KY. Her two grandchildren, Jeff Owens and wife Tabitha of Gulf Breeze Fl. and Justin Owens of Pensicola FL. Also surviving are two great grandchildren, Madison and McKenna Owens.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Walter Lee Owens who passed away on August 17, 1995, her parents Richard and Pearl Scott, and two brothers Ira Scott and Russell Scott.
Services will be Wednesday 6/29/2005 at 11:30 am, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes- South Chapel, with Rev., Loyd Bean Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday 6/28/2005 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes- South Chapel.
