He was a son of Dwight and Marguerite "Rita" (Dilworth) Gagle. On Jul 10, 1949, he married Juanita Hassan, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are two sons, Mark A. (Dawn), Celina, and Todd (Lois), Moon Twp, PA; a brother Robert, Bloomington, IN; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Deceased are an infant son, Lowell Jr.; and a sister-in-law,Dorothy Gagle.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a past Exalted Ruler of the Mercer County Elks, a member of the Celina Masonic Lodge #241 F&AM, a life member of both the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713. He retired after 46 years of Data Processing For Celina Group Insurance Co. in 1992. He was an adjunct assistant professor and Lab Moitor at the Wright State Lake Campus.
Funeral services will be held at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev Kim Miller officiating.
