Mrs. Henry Braddy died of tuberculosis at her home in Elgin at 1:10 o'clock Thursday morning after an illness of about one year, aged 30 years, 1 month and 7 days. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church at Marlow by the pastor of that church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, interment near there.
Mary L. Smart was born Sept. 14, 1885, near Booneville, Miss. She was married to Henry Braddy Nov. 6, 1904, at Gainesville, Texas. To this union was born four children, the youngest, a girl dying on August 7 of this year. The surviving childre are: Jeffie age 10; Archie, age 6; Mabel, age 4. The family moved to Oklahoma in 1907, where they have resided, with the exception of one years.
Besides her husband and children she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Smart of Thackerville, Okla., one brother, Abe, at Marietta, and one sister, Miss Laura, living with her parents.
Before her marriage she was converted and joined the Methodist church. In 1910 she united with the Methodist church at Marlow of which she was a member until she moved to Elgin, withdrawing there to join here.
