BORGER - McDonald LeRoy "Don" Barngrover, 81, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001.


Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Garden of Devotion at Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Barngrover was born Jan. 9, 1919, in Topeka, Kan.
He was a truck driver for Texas Pipe and Metal Co.
He served in the Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen Barngrover;
a son, Melvin Barngrover of Kansas;
four daughters,
Nevilla Ownbey of Hurst,

Gwen Parraz of Tucson, Ariz.,

Carolyn Ellis of Austin and

Beulah Hampton of Fort Worth; 17 grandchildren;
25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
