Destinay Chantel Andrus, three-week-old infant, of Grenada, died Friday, Oct. 16, 1998 from complications from birth at the University Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services were held at Ed Roberts Chapel of Remembrance in Winona, Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. Burial followed in Young's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Montgomery County.
She is survived by her parents, Dwayne, Sr. and Tiffany Andrus of Grenada; one brother, Dwayne Andrus, Jr. of Lafayette, La.; a twin sister, Daycia Chante' Andrus of Grenada; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Elaine and James Jackson of Kenner, La.; paternal grandmother, Bertha Benoit of Lafayette, La.; maternal great-grandparents, George and Vivian Small of Duck Hill, paternal great-grandparents, R. L., Sr. and Lucy Flowers of Winona; and paternal great-grandmother, Emma Andrus of Lafayette, La.
Roberts & Sons Mortuary of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
