James Vernon Adams, 56 years old, died from a heart condition on Friday, May 5, 1967, at North Kansas City Hospital. James was born in Springfield, Missouri, and had been a resident of Greater Kansas City since early childhood. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a fire guard for 20 years at the Corn Products Company.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. June Adams, and a half sister, Mrs. Milton McCoy of Houston.
