HORTENSE -- Mrs. Ann Loretta Cranes Strickland, 70, died Aug. 5, 2001 at home.
The native of Jefferson County, Ala., lived for many years in Atlanta before moving to Hortense. She was a homemaker, a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a former teacher of the Young Married Couples Sunday School Class.
SURVIVORS: her husband, John Strickland of Hortense; her mother, Flora Attison of Birmingham, Ala. ; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home in Blackshear.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home, burial in Satilla Cemetery in Hortense.
