"CAP" LOWRY
Holland "Cap" Lowry, 85, Humboldt died at the Neosho Memorial Hospital Saturday, January 31, 1987. He was born July 17, 1901 at Harris, Missouri to Delbert and Amanda (Baker) Lowry.
Mr. Lowry came to Humboldt in the 1920's and on September 21, 1929, he married Fern Palmer at Fort/Scott.
Mr. Lowry was retired from Monarch Cement. He attended the Humboldt United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Fern, of the Home; one daughter, Nadine Garcia, Chanute; a step-daughter, Marian Mayhugh, Orange, California; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one neice. He was preceded in death by one son, Herbert Roy Lowry on April l6, 1978.
Funeral services for Mr. Lowry were today (Tuesday), February 2, 1987 at the Humboldt United Methodist Church, Rev. Don Harper officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt. Kunkel Funeral Chapel was in charge of' the arrangements.
