I grew up knowing most if not all the Pavey's and there were quite a few: Joe, Larry, Paul, Stephen, John and Mike along with five daughters, Diana, Sue Ann, Barbara, Rita and Mary. With so many children it was extremely hard not to know this family because if you didn't have a Pavey in the same school grade with you then you had one just ahead or behind you.
Charlie was my little leage coach while growing up in Rushville and I remember him today very well. RIP.
