Antoinette Erikson FALMOUTH Antoinette G. Toni (Merritt) Erikson, 87 of Falmouth, formerly of Quincy, passed away on February 2, 2009 at the JML Care Center in Falmouth, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John S. Erikson who died in May of 2008. Toni was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Lester C. and Gilda (Occupinti) Merritt and moved to Braintree as a young child. She was a graduate of Braintree High School and worked for Raytheon in W. Quincy, DeWolfe Realty in Milton and Work Inc in N. Quincy helping individuals with special needs for 30 years. She lived in Quincy and moved to Falmouth where she ran the Sand & Surf Guest House in Falmouth Heights with her husband for 20 years. Toni made many lifelong friendships with their guest from across the country. Toni was a kind and generous person who also had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew her. Toni is survived by her son John S. Erikson, Jr. and his wife Nancy L. of E. Falmouth, her daughter Janet L. Agius and her husband Raymond of Hanson, grandchildren Sean E. Agius of Hanson and Beth A. Agius of Quincy. and a sister, Lasine Fisher of FL. She was predeceased by a brother Stephen Merritt and a sister Helen J. Merritt. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 5 from 10:30 to 12:30 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth Center. A funeral home service will begin at 12:30. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tonis memory to Work Inc., 3 Arlington St., Quincy, MA 02171.
