She was born in Meldrim and was a resident of Sebring since 1973, coming from Miami.
She was a Baptist and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald Bechard of Sebring; a son, Roland Bechard Jr. of New Caney, Texas; a sister, Emma Beall Pate of Goldsboro, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services: 1 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
