Age 82, formerly of Reading and Shillington, Pennsylvania passed away in San Diego, California.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ardelle V. (Weisser); children: Cheryl W., wife of Russell M. Pease, Blandon; Edward M. Wisner, and wife, Kelly (Angstadt), Wernersville; and Mark E. Wisner, Readsing; a grandson, Nathaniel M. Pease and wife, Debra (Long), Northampton; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Baltimore, the eldest child of the late Roland and Florence (Weaver) Wisner.

Also surviving are five brothers: Richard Wisner and wife, Mona; Kenneth Wisner, widower of STella; Howard, and wife, Louise; Frederick and wife, Marlene; and Ronald, and wife Audrey......and five sisters: Betty, wife of Frank Barbitta; Margaret, wife of Leon Godziejewski; Patricia, wife of Jame Orth; Carole, wife of Joseph Quinn; and Susan, wife of Raymond Snyder.

There are also 28 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Robert Endy.

He was a veteran, having served in the Army in Italy and North Africa during World War II.

His ashes will be interred at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Cabrillo Memorial Park, overlooking San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Private arrangements were handled by Merkley Mitchell Mortuary, San Diego, California.
