Nora Bell Strickland Anderson, 91, (b. 1 Jan 1909) of Brunswick died Wednesday (8 Nov 2000) at her home.

A graveside service was at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Waynesville with the Rev. Clayton Edgy officiating.

The family received friends at Chambless Funeral Home in Nahunta.

Pallbearers were Frank S. Strickland, Robert A. Strickland, Gregory A. Strickland, James D. Strickland, Daniel E. Strickland, Glenn Strickland, Robert Anderson Jr. and Jody Harris

Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Blake, George Blake, Marlin Edgy, Claude Edgy, Tommy Edgy, Butler Blount, the staff of CareSouth, and Drs. Skelton and Levy.

She was the daughter of General J. Strickland and Mamie Lewis Strickland and was the widow of Daniel Edward Anderson, Sr. A native of the area that is now Brantley County, she was a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Juanita Rooks of Waynesville, Louise Fulford of Woodbine, and Mamie Strickland of White Oak; four sons, Daniel Anderson Jr. of Brunswick, Jimmy Anderson (wife Hazel) of Waynesville, Avery Anderson (wife Bonnie) of Swansea, SC, and Robert Anderson of Brunswick; 38 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Chambless Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
