Judith Kay DeWolf of Long Creek died on Tuesday April 17, 2007, with her husband at her side. She was 60.
A funeral was held on Monday, April 23, 2007, at the Long Creek Community Church in Long Creek, with Pastor Richard Flatt officiating.
Mrs. DeWolf was born on Feb. 18, 1947, in Prairie City, to Ernest and Bonnie (Kalher) White. She graduated from Long Creek High School in 1965. She was married to Bob Rasco from 1965 to 1980. They divorced. She married Rozel P. DeWolf on May 10, 1986, in Reno, Nev. Mrs. DeWolf worked as a sales clerk at J.C. Penney until 2001, when she retired. She enjoyed photography, fishing and traveling. She was an excellent homemaker, decorator and caregiver.
She is survived by husband, Rozel "Ross" DeWolf, of Long Creek; sons, Brian C. Rasco of Anchorage, Alaska; and Corbin S. Rasco of Wassila, Alaska; stepdaughters Teresa Ann Thomas of Topsham, Maine; and Tina Marie Cawet of Porterville, Calif.; stepson, Ronald DeWolf of Aturas, Calif.; sister, Joan Woods of Pendelton; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. DeWolf was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest White, Jr.; her father, Ernest White, and her mother, Bonnie Eala White.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Long Creek Community Church Youth Center Building Fund through Driskill Memorial Chapel, 241 S. Canyon Blvd., John Day, OR 97845.
