Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Joe Andrajack, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Mr. Arnold was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Memphis and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He worked in offshore oil construction for 19 years. Later, he worked at TSTI in the maintenance department for several years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alene Arnold of Amarillo; a son, Steven H. and wife Irene Arnold of Alamogordo, N.M.; two grandchildren, Steven E. and Adam H. Arnold; three nieces, Jeannie Kazemi and husband John, Ann Franklin and husband Johnny and Susan Antley and husband Steve; and close friends, the Darrell Childress family.
The family suggests memorials be to Building Fund, Christ Lutheran Church, 2400 N. Coulter St., Amarillo, TX 79124; or BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
