She was born June 7, 1928, in McClure, Ohio, to he Rev. Garrison and Jocie Archer Roebuck, who preceded her in death. In 1950, she married Charles E. Abram. Together they were the parents of one daughter, Pat.
After graduating Summa cum Laude from The Ohio State University, Mrs. Abram had been a teacher in New Albany elementary schools and had worked with the Ohio Department of Corrections/Adult Parole Authority. She was a longtime member of Grace Brethren Church, Worthington where she taught two and three-year-olds for many years. She was a 1946 graduate of Marion Harding High School. In childhood, she had lived in Rockford, Defiance and Marion. After marrying Charles Edwin Abram in August 1950, they settled in Columbus. She was a believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Douglas) Ault, of Bowling Green, Ky.; three granddaughters, Erin (Jason) Gross and Aimee (Mark) Scott, both of Montgomery, Al., and Alexia Ault, of Bowling Green, Ky.; three great-grandsons. Jackson and Jameson Gross and Everett Scott; two brothers, Lamar Roebuck, of Lima, and Forest (Marlene) Roebuck, of Rockford; two sisters-in-law, Jane Roebuck and Wanda Diehr; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee (Ruby) and Virgil "Pete" Roebuck; a sister, Lucille; and two sisters-in-law, Ruby Roebuck and Sally Roebuck.
Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace Brethren Church, Worthington. Burial will be private.
