Georgia (Ray) Huffstetler, age 93, of Lenoir City, formerly of Maryville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his wife Ovaleen (Ray) Huffstetler; son, Don Huffstetler; parents, George and Laura Huffstetler; brothers, G. L. and Herman Huffstetler and sister, Beulah Carpenter. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Helen and James Moore of Maryville; grandsons and wives, Gary and Dona Moore, Larry and D.J. Moore; granddaughters, Donna Stockton, and Lisa Spoon and friend Tom Fox; great-grandchildren, April Owens, Jennifer and Cory Mason, Whitney Moore, Jozie Moore, Chuck Easter and Kevin Wright; great-great-grandchildren, Colbey Littleton, Amber Owens and Danielle Graves; daughter-in-law, Margaret Huffstetler and husband, Gib Rather; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thanks to Quality Health Care, all the staff of Colonial Hills Nursing Home, and a very special thanks to all his friends, especially all of his former employees of the Old Mobile Station in Lenoir City. He greatly appreciated all the service they gave him over many years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church, 4333 Highway 11 East, Lenoir City, TN 37772, or the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tony Collins and Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m.. Wednesday and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 2:00p.m. Serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Owens, Chuck Easter, Larry Moore, Gary Moore, Paul Rogers and Ronnie Huffstetler.
