Edward Kirk Pullen, Jr. of Shickshinny, Pa. died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Berwick Hospital Center. He was 75 years of age.
He was the husband of Barbara(Cooper)Pullen, whom he married on May 2, 1959.
The son of Edward K. Pullen, Sr. and Rachael(Coffman)Pullen, he was born April 7, 1933 in Yardley, Pa. He was a graduate of the former Newtown High School.
Edward was a painter for 34 years for U. S. Steel of Fairless Hills, Pa. He also was a substitute school bus driver for Pennsbury School District.
He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic.
Edward was a former umpire-in-chief of the Levittown American Little League. He enjoyed the outdoors where he hunted, fished and went camping with his family.
Along with his wife Barbara, he is survived by his children, Edward Pullen III and his wife, Lisa, Dennis Pullen, Dale Pullen and his wife Cathy, and Chris Pullen and his wife Melissa. His grandchildren are: Matt Pullen, Sean and Tim Pullen, Dale Pullen, Jr. and Adam Pullen, Chris Pullen, Jr. and Trevor and Kyle Pullen.
Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
