---Graveside survices for Ruby Mary Allen will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 7, 1990) at the La Plata cemetery under the direction fo the Elliott Funeral Home in Atlanta. The Rev. Archie Cooper of Kirksville will officiate.
---Bearers will be Jimmy Cunningham, Kenneth Cunningham, Larry Cunningham, Rex Cunningham, Jerry Fletcher and Raymond Buck.
---Mrs. Allen, 71, of Rt. 2, LaPlata died at 2:14 a.m. Monday (Feb. 5, 1990) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center.
---Born Oct. 25, 1918 at Erie, Ill., she was the daughter of Otto M. and Della (Rogers) Sullivan. On April 4, 1936 at South Gifford, she married Raymond Paul Allen who survives.
---Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Hallie (Betty) Warren of Rt. 1, Ethel; three nieces and four nephews.
---She was preceded in death by her father who died on June 27, 1964 and her mother, who died Aug. 11, 1978.
---Mrs. Allen moved to the Gifford community in 1934. After their marriage, she and her husband resided in the Gibbs and Elmer areas and for the past 24 years, they had resided on a farm northeast of LaPlata.
