Mrs. Judy Fant Warlick, 76, of LaGrange died Sunday morning near Five Points, AL. She was the widow of the late John L. Warlick.
Mrs. Warlick was born October 21, 1920, in Chambers County, AL; the daughter of Alonza Jackson and Laura Alma Bishop Fant. She had lived in LaGrange since 1948 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She had 48 years of consecutive employment with Callaway Mills and Milliken & Co. Design Center.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald L. and Salena Warlick of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, John Kenneth and Dorinda Warlick, Donald Keith Warlick and Kimberly Salena Warlick, all of Wilmington, NC; great-grandchildren, Kody and Kendall Warlick of Wilmington, NC; and a sister, Mrs. Hattie F. Cadenhead of LaFayette, AL.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange Chapel, at 1010 Mooty Bridge Road. Rev. Carl Knowles will officiate with entombment in Shadowlawn Mausoleum.
The family will be at Mrs. Warlick's home and will receive friends from 7 until 9 this evening at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Mrs. Warlick at Thornwell Home & School for Children, P.O. Box 60, Clinton, SC 29325.
Striffler-Hamby Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
