Helen, of Port Neches, passed away Wednesday at Gulf Healthcare Center.
Born in Kaplan, Louisiana to Numa Marceaux and Allie Landry Marceaux, she was an area resident for fifty eight years and teacher at St. Catherine Catholic School and Sabine Pass ISD before her retirement.
She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society, Senior Club and The Cajun Choir.
Survivors include her husband, Paul J. Duplantis; daughter, Cynthia K. Roberts and husband, Tom; sister, Eula Menard; brother, Newton Marceaux and wife, Marguarite; grandchildren, Amy York and husband, Shawn, Lea Ann Roberts, Jennifer Roberts; great-grandchildren, Ryan York and Jaxson York.
